The Pretty Pink Velvet Skirt

Hello warmer weather! It is finally here! Have any of you been waiting as long as me for this day? As i was boxing up my winter clothes, I noticed I didn’t bring this skirt out to play. So I thought, this would be a great time to wear it. Would it help if it was a pretty pastel pink velvet skirt? Although it is velvet, it is a very light skirt and the color is very spring ready. When I saw this skirt last year from the “A New Day” brand at Target, I had to get it. The color is so gorgeous and midi skirts are not going out of style anytime soon. Although I am a plus size girl, I picked this skirt in an XXL because of the elastic waistband and it fits perfectly. This dress is more comfortable when it sits high waisted.

This skirt can be paired with so many things, but I decided to keep it simple and wear it with my cute T-shirt from Old Navy I picked up last year. Did you know Old Navy carries the cutest novelty tees? And you’ve seen these block sandals before. JustFab has them in almost every color and these happen to also be velvet!
