Hi there! I took a small hiatus to get organized with my life from work, to wedding planning, to building my brands. And do you want to know a secret? I’m still trying! I thought I start this month off by talking about what I’ve been loving so far this year. Can you believe this is already March! I felt like New Years was last night.

This year, I’ve been really focused on self and body care since I’m getting married the end of the year. I wanted to talk about a few products that I’ve been loving for the past few months that I think are pretty cool stuff!

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter

Over 10 years, Palmer’s Cocoa Butter has always been in my body care regimen. My skin has achieved an even tone throughout, not to mention smooth and soft. I remember using it on my chest for over a year because I had stretch marks and they disappeared. This 24 hour moisture concentrated cream helps with dry skin and immediately adds moisture back in my hands after constant washing.

When I found out about a hair care line, I had to try! This hair oil, which contains peppermint oil and keratin keeps my hair moisturizer and soft, especially between wash days and smells amazing.

L’Oreal

This infallible pro glow foundation is the truth! I’m in the shade 210 and it’s perfect. I don’t have to mix different colors. A little goes a long way and it does provide full coverage, not to mention a little glow.

SheaMoisture

As you know, I’m a huge fan of SheaMoisture. This brand has been in my hair regimen for the last 7 years. The Jamaican Black Castor Oil leave-in conditioner is perfect for my hair. I’ve talked about this several times, so I won’t bore you, but moisture is key. Plus, my hair loves peppermint and keratin.

Spring is coming and  well exfoliated body is major. Winter is coming to an end and several layers of dead skin are piling up so a good scrub is needed. This Coconut & Hibiscus hand and body scrub will remove everything and leave your skin feeling brand new and soft. I would feel my skin before and after and there is a major difference. I even have my fiancé use it.

I have to find more products from this brand. I received this conditioning cream in a Curlkit last year and I my hair loves this. It best works on my hair right after washing and no leave in. The smell lingers for days and your curls will pop. I remember when I was venue hunting and I would smell something strong and fresh and I would be like…”what is that smell?” Trust me, it smells that good. Also, you don’t need to add a leave in after washing if you want to use this product.

Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy

Need a good bath? Try this Eucalyptus Spearmint Bath Soap. My brother and I tried the bubble bath because it was supposed to help you get a good night’s rest, but we bought it thinking it wouldn’t work. The next day, we hollered to each other about how we were knocked out after we took a bath with it. This body soak will put you to sleep in the tub, well for me it did. Don’t worry about it damaging your tub and it melts nicely in the water.  It soothes and relaxes the body not to mention, it has a nice lingering smell.
