I was strolling in Cato about a month ago, checking out their fall collection. When the seasons change, I like to check out my favorite stores to see what I can pair with my old clothes and what I want to add in my wardrobe.

I’ve been shopping in Cato since I was about 14 years old. I felt like it was a hidden gem because they carried nice things. People always associated this store with “old women.” Okay, granted some things were a little too much for me but there were trendy items. Let’s fast forward a few years and this store definitely got the “trendy memo.” In my time shopping there, I don’t think I found a beautiful sequins  top like this one. I get so many compliments and for $30, this is a great quality top.

Date Night

This look is definitely a date night look. For some reason, I kept the accessories to a minimum but the pieces in the casual look below would work very well. I wanted to pair the top with my tulle skirt and nude heels. Sequins and tulle screams date night. A nice black satin clutch would go great. You don’t t want to carry a huge heavy handbag on date night. 😀

Casual Day

On the next look, I wanted to be casual. You know, throw on some jeans and flats with it. The cross body also was purchased from Cato as well and went perfectly with my flats. Gold jewelry was the best to pair which made the look comfy glam.
