This past weekend, I went to the “A” with my honey, Benjamin for a weekend getaway. Atlanta is one of my favorite places to visit. The shops, the restaurants, the events, and nightlife are endless. Also this weekend was the Taaliah Waajid Word Natural Hair Show. I’ve learned about this event years ago and I try to go to check out new natural hair products and also meet my favorite Youtubers! Events like this always have discounts on products that you can replenish and even new things that has yet to be released! I visited my favorite booths like Crème of Nature, Camille Rose Naturals, and LottaBody. Crème of Nature had color demonstrations and workshops about color care not to mention great prices of bundle items. Camille Rose Naturals had their items for $10/each so I definitely hit jackpot. LottaBody had an awesome bundle bag for $15 which was a steal!
For me, a couple of hours is all I need at the event (maybe I’ll stay for all the events next time) and then I’m out to enjoy the rest of my time in Atlanta. Shout out to my honey for putting up with me and all things girly. He took all the pics for me while I roamed around!
Our next stop was the Georgia Aquarium! The Georgia Aquarium is the world’s largest aquarium in the world and absolutely stunning! Ben and I were kids in that place. We went at an awkward time so we missed the events, like the Dolphin shows, or a chance to see divers interact with the fish. All in all our time there was great and we even had a caricature made!
Before dinner, we had to visit the infamous Lenox Square Mall where I purchased a pair of Tory Burch Miller Sandals. I’ve had my eyes on them for a very long time and I deserved something nice. After extensive research, I got them! Tory Burch does have quality shoes, and I’m definitely going to get my money’s worth. After leaving, I had to stop by Sprinkles and experience purchasing cupcakes through their ATM machine. I just picked the cupcakes I wanted, swipe my card and the cupcakes appear through the square slot!
